The Magic of Minsmere Weekend Walks 2018
Walking in Minsmere is a firm favourite amongst visitors to Suffolk so if you're new to the area, or can't get enough of nature, then take part in the weekend walks hosted by RSPB Minsmere. Discover more than 5,300 species and a wealth of history in a series of guided walks with a knowledgeable member of the RSPB Minsmere team. Walks begin at 9:15 am and generally last 3-4 hours and are tailored to the season and visitor knowledge.Tickets cost Adults £8, children £4 (plus normal reserve entry fees for non-members). Birds for Beginners at RSPB Minsmere 2018
Visit RSPB Minsmere this year and learn how to identify a range of bird species which can be found. An RSPB guide will take you through all the steps for recognising the birds as well as showing you how to use binoculars. No previous experience needed. Please remember to bring your binoculars or you can hire a pair from the RSPB reception area.
The Aldeburgh Literary Festival 2018
1st - 4th March 2018
The 17th Aldeburgh Literary Festival returns in 2018 for another booked filled winter weekend. The festival plays host to local and global talks from the serious to the comical and is hosted at the Jubilee Hall. Programmes are available through the Aldeburgh Book Shop.
Southwold Artisan Market 2018
Friday 2nd March 2018
Visit the United Reformed Church Hall between March and December for their Friday Artisan Market. On offer are various arts and crafts including handmade cards, pebble art, textiles, jewellery, natural products and more.
Suffolk Wildlife Trust - Talks at Southwold Arts Centre
Thursday 8th March 2018
One of two evening talks hosted by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust who are an organisation dedicated to safeguarding Suffolk's wildlife and countryside. This event is open to both members and non-members who are passionate about Suffolk's landscape. On this first event the talk focuses on Minsmere with Ian Barthorpe. Entry costs £3 per person.
The Southwold Passion 2018
26th & 27th March 2018
Support members of the Sole Bay Team of Churches and the local community in their performances on Bartholomew Green (just outside St Edmunds Church) and inside St Edmunds Church.
The members will be performing the Southwold Passion with an evening performance taking place from 7.30pm on 26 and 27 March and a matinee performance on the 27 March at 2.30pm.

Spring Nature Trail at Snape Maltings

Snape Maltings is popular with all the family this Easter weekend! For the kids you can pick up a trail map and head around the site in search for some lovely chocolate Easter eggs. Whilst at Snape Maltings you can take a look at the homeware shop, relax at the cafe and enjoy the lovely surroundings.

Southwold Fine Art and Antiques Fair 2018
30th March – 1st April 2018
Taking place at St Felix School in Southwold, the Southwold Fine Art and Antiques Fair host over 50 dealers in antique furniture, ceramics, clocks, jewellery, glass, silver, artworks and much more.
