Description
Intro
Beyond its ultra-modern exterior, this contemporary family home exudes a warmth and welcome that echoes its Walberswick surroundings. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, private parking and a family-friendly approach, it’s a firm favourite for larger groups seeking a comfortable coastal retreat.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
A dreamy, pastel colour palette keeps the atmosphere calm and peaceful on the first floor, where you’ll find a modern family bathroom complete with warm-toned wooden cabinetry. There are four bedrooms within the property – one a double with an en suite shower room, one a bunk-bedded room with the beds big enough for adults as well as children, and two each having twin beds, one of these also boasting its own en suite shower room. A ground floor cloakroom accessed through the utility room completes the line-up of conveniences.
Cooking and dining
Mealtimes are for all to enjoy here, the white, light kitchen area extending into a dining space complete with table and chairs plus French doors leading onto the paved terrace and private garden. All the home-from-home essentials are provided, including an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, plus a barbecue outdoors for al fresco feasts.
Outside
There’s off-road parking for two cars here, plus storage for bicycles if you’d like to bring your own for some two-wheeled adventures. The garden features a paved terrace complete with furniture plus a lawned area bounded by a hedge – it’s private, but a watchful eye should be kept on any children and dogs with a tendency to wander.
Practicalities
Thoughtfully equipped to make every stay here hassle-free, Stocks Studio comes complete with WiFi, digital TV, a DVD player, iPod speakers and docking station plus a selection of books and board games. There’s a washing machine and tumble dryer in the ground floor utility room, and a woodburner complements the underfloor heating in the winter months – a small basket of logs and kindling will be supplied for guests staying here from November to March. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to share in the holiday fun – there are plenty of lovely walks on the doorstep!
