The owners took a no-expense-spared approach to preparing this bungalow for your holiday enjoyment - so close to the seafront, it's a real hidden gem! During the Christmas period, Woodpeckers will be festively decorated making this the perfect property for a cosy Christmas getaway.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
Six people will sleep very soundly in the beautiful bedrooms here - the combination of birdsong and sea breezes can be very soothing! There's a king-size bed and a newly installed en suite shower room with grab rail in the master suite, and in the second bedroom zip-and-link twin beds can convert to a super-king - just let us know which you'd like when you book and we'll make sure it's sorted! A single bed in the third room and and there's a spacious family bathroom with modern white fittings and an overbath shower for a choice of cleansing options. For your added comfort, all bedrooms feature Roberts bedside radios, duck down and feather pillows, and seasonally-adjusted duvet weights.

Cooking and dining
No expense has been spared in the prettily-painted, Shaker-style kitchen - look out for high-end names such as Neff, Nespresso, Miele, Liebherr and Bosch among the appliances which include electric oven, combi microwave, induction hob, warming drawer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer and coffee machine. A generously-sized dining suite sits beyond the kitchen - the areas divided by low-level cupboards - and patio doors lead on from here to the garden.

Woodpeckers nestles within its own private plot - a pretty garden wraps-around the property and features lovely lawns and herbaceous planting, plus a quiet patio area complete with outdoor dining furniture... perfect for sunny afternoons and starry nights. There's parking for up to three cars too - that's a real prize this close to the pier and beach!

Underfloor heating plus free Wi-Fi ensure all the expected home comforts and entertainment are here, and there's a dresser stacked with books, local guides and board games if you tire of the up-to-the-minute technology of the Smart TV, DVD and Bose speaker. A gas fire in the sitting room boosts the comfort factor on colder days, and - supremely sensible! -an additional utility room within the garage has a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink to take care of your beachwear or wet-weather gear. Please note that a £150 security deposit is required four weeks prior to your holiday.

A real home from home. Feels very spacious inside and has been updated to a high standard. Beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Also, we really appreciated the welcome bag of treats and wine.

Past Customer,

We loved the property and the beautifully maintained garden. The position is excellent with a short flat walk to the sea front and pier. The bungalow is excellently maintained with lovely decor, furnishings and original paintings, Denby pottery and superb cooking utensils and hob and ovens. Beds are exceedlingly comfortable with lovely white fluffy bath sheets and an assortment of complementary shampoo and shower gels. The Welcome pack was one of the best and most unusual we’ve ever had.it contained a variety of unusual and local produce and drinks, including Adnams !

Ms Angela D,

Woodpeckers is a lovely property and is so well equipped. A stones throw from the sea, yet a nice quiet cul de sac. Top quality equipment e.g. washing machine, dishwasher etc, which was nice. Lots of games and books too. All in all, a lovely holiday - thank you very much

Past Customer,

We had a fantastic stay, the bungalow was more than we could have wished for. Really well kitted out, lovely and clean, and all mod cons. The bungalow is perfectly located close to the town, pier and beach but in a quiet cul-de-sac so no noise from the town.
