Calm pastel shades and high-class, contemporary styling make this first floor apartment warm and welcoming whatever time of year you visit. Part of a clever conversion just a stroll from the seafront, two well-behaved pets are also welcome, so there's no need to leave the pooches at home!
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Light and bright, the luxurious bedroom here is soothing and sure to lull you off to a good night's sleep ? it features a pretty double bed and has an ensuite shower room complete with period-style fittings which include a bath and shower mixer tap.
Cooking and dining
The open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen guarantees plenty of together-time ? chat while you cook, unwind in front of the TV or simply snuggle up on the sofa and enjoy your own private view of the seafront, just a stone's throw away. Southwold's fine eateries are within wandering distance, but if you want to cook at home there's an electic oven and hob, fridge with ice box, microwave and slimline dishwasher to make mealtimes fuss-free.
The Pier is just a short stroll from the seafront and promenade ? start collecting your small change now for a trip to the world-famous Under the Pier Show! Alternatively, just a few steps from your front door is the Sole Bay Inn, the ideal place to enjoy a glass of Southwold-brewed beer or fizz and, a little further beyond, the green spaces which were once an important fire-break for the town's historic houses and these days make the perfect picnic spot.
Wi-Fi, towels and gas heating ensure entertainment, comfort and convenience, and there's a travel cot and highchair should you need them. A washer-dryer takes care of any laundry requirements and up to two small and well-behaved dogs can be accommodated. There's plenty of roadside parking available nearby and if you're holidaying with others, The Pier is part of Suffolk House and can be booked together with The Lighthouse and The Blyth to accommodate groups. A £150 security deposit will be required four weeks prior to your holiday.

The flat was perfect for us. We liked the bright decor, the simple and tidy furnishing, the wooden floor, the large main room incorporating the kitchen and dining area. The close proximity of the pier to the north and the town centre to the south was an extra bonus.Mr Andrew Ingle - 2nd August 2018
