Description
Intro
Welcome to Suffolk Cottage, a charming family residence. Period features - think stripped floors, bay windows and woodburner! - mingle with ultra-modern must-haves including two bathrooms, a fully-equipped utility room and big, oh-so-comfy sofas which simply insist that you relax and unwind.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Wander through a well-lit hallway and climb soft-carpeted stairs to two king size bedrooms - one of them with its own en-suite and both looking towards the lighthouse - and a further twin-bedded room, plus a separate shower room. White-painted wardrobes and characterful tongue-and-groove walls create a sense of space and light throughout the first floor.
Cooking and dining
Expect to enjoy lots of time in the open plan kitchen and dining area - for the cooks in your group there's an eye-level electric oven plus separate five-burner gas hob, and plenty of elbow room for everyone to feast at the rustic table. If it's too chilly to throw open those French doors you could light the woodburner - perfect for a more intimate dining experience!
Outside
Suffolk Cottage oozes kerbside appeal, with a gravel area that's big enough to park a car on, plus a block-paver path to the front porch. To the side of this, an arched door leads to a foliage-filled courtyard garden enclosed by warm red brick walls and complete with wooden table and chairs.
Practicalities
Woodburner and barbecue starter packs are provided, and there's free Wi-Fi plus books and board-games. A travel cot (linen provided), highchair and stairgates are available, plus there's even space for pushchairs and beach paraphernalia in the garden shed! And in case you need to stay in contact with the folks back home, there's a telephone for incoming calls. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed due to owner's allergies.
