Tucked away just off the Common and close to the landmark Sacred Heart Catholic church, Tradewinds is part of a bay-fronted terrace of substantial family homes. A secure courtyard garden makes it pet- and child-friendly, and it comes complete with private parking - much-coveted in such a central location.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Three bedrooms and a bathroom fill the first floor of this warm and welcoming holiday cottage. To the front, a large double-bedded room is flooded with light and comes complete with a Smart TV for internet-connected entertainment. Period-style bedsteads - twins in one room, a single in the other - set the scene for peaceful slumbers in the two garden-facing bedrooms, whilst the family-sized bathroom features a bath with shower over, and a calm, muted colour scheme.
Cooking and dining
The warm hues of a terracotta-tiled floor and olive country-style cabinets combine with white fittings and dual-aspect windows to create a kitchen that's stylish and fuss-free. A gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer take care of all your holiday essentials, and there's space here to cook and chat convivially. A lovely wooden-floored dining room seats six in comfort and has fully-glazed French doors leading into the garden.
Enjoy quiet moments and family mealtimes in your private courtyard garden. Fully-paved and furnished with table and chairs, it's planted for seasonal interest and leads to a private parking space at the rear of the property.
A cosy sitting room sets the tone for quiet nights in, whilst a Smart TV with DVD player makes sure you have up-to-the-minute entertainment options in the high-ceilinged sitting room here. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and is sure to enjoy walks across the Common - the Harbour and seafront are each within pleasant strolling distance.

Lovely cosy cottage in an ideal position.Mrs C Harrison - 9th February 2017
Good overall property and suited us very well for our first holiday with our dog. Also a great advantage to have a parking space in the centre of town.Mr S Cracknell - 6th July 2016
Very attractive, comfortable and chic place to stay. Dogs welcomed the happy hours they spent in the sunny garden.Ms H Webster - 10th May 2016
Cosy, comfy house in an excellent location. We had a lovely Christmas break and would return to this property. Enjoyed our stay hugely. Excellent location for the town and beach. Good beach walking with our dog. Also lovely walks down to Blackshore and Walberswick. Good to see how many businesses are dog friendly. Would recommend Coasters and The Red Lion in town; Sole Bay fish Company and The Harbour Inn at Blackshore; and The Bell and The Anchor in Walberswick.Mr Adrian Stenton - 1st January 2016
A lovely property.Mrs Jill Townsend - 9th October 2015
By far the main thing for us is that Southwold is such a dog-friendly place so the availability of properties where we can be with out dogs is important.Dr G Lum - 28th May 2015
