Description

Intro
Tenderly refurbished and tastefully furnished, Rose Cottage is a testament to all that's so captivating about Southwold: traditional yet modern, a place where coast meets countryside, comfortable and elegant... you name it, this holiday cottage has it! A real home-from home, this is a high-quality residence you'll want to return to time and again.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
All on the first floor, two bedrooms provide comfortable, calming accommodation for four. Both bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with twins and a lovely window seat - enjoy views of the lighthouse across St James Green, and have built-in cupboards along with space to relax and unwind. There's even White Company dressing gowns and white slippers provided for the adults! A family bathroom is beautifully tiled and features a bath with shower overhead, whilst downstairs there are further cloakroom conveniences.

Cooking and dining
A spacious and sunny kitchen is through an archway just off the sitting room, and is fully equipped with all the mealtime must-haves as well as an old-fashioned rocking chair for those moments of quiet contemplation. Enjoy views of the garden and, beyond, to the lighthouse from the vintage-style dining table and chairs which sit before the living room's bay window.

Outside
The owner's love of old-fashioned roses - evident in soft furnishings inside - is fully indulged in the lovely enclosed garden here. Complete with bench and raised borders, it's full of traditional plants and adds to your sense of privacy.

Practicalities
There's roadside parking outside the property, and for those holidaying with young children, a travel cot and highchair are provided. Wi-Fi is included, and there's a dishwasher and washing machine to help you keep on top of those essential chores too.
