Description

Intro
Rich in period detailing and fully kitted out for a fuss-free stay, this High Street pad has much-prized parking and a private outside space

Bedrooms and bathrooms
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms make High View eminently suitable for families or friends to enjoy a holiday together. With views over the characterful High Street, the king-size bedroom is large, full of light and dream-inducingly comfortable - guests have made special mention of the quality of the beds here! An en suite shower room adds convenience. A gentle gold and black colour scheme carries the theme of elegance into the second twin-bedded room which has a window onto the balcony at the rear of the property, as does the family bathroom which is both light and bright.

Cooking and dining
Enjoy far-reaching views across rooftops and gardens as you cook and chat in the well-proportioned kitchen - it's fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, plus plenty of period-style cupboard and counter space. A door opens onto your own balcony complete with table and chairs, ideal for an al fresco snack. Inside, the elegant sitting room features a large, solid wood dining suite which gives a sense of grandeur to more formal mealtimes... or you could just put your feet up with a tray in front of the TV - the leather sofas here are oh-so-inviting!

Outside
There's a clue in the name of this lovely holiday home... High View has a south-facing balcony, accessed from the kitchen, which offers sweeping views across rooftops, gardens and Common all the way to Walberswick and beyond! Positioned at the rear of the building, it's a peaceful, private spot in which to tuck into your tea and toast or enjoy an evening tipple.

Practicalities
Arrive, unpack and park in your own designated space behind your holiday home - High View has such great access to all the town's attractions, you won't need your car until it's time to go home! Neither will you need to bring lots of gear and gadgets - if you're holidaying with small children, High View has its own travel cot and highchair, while for those who want to stay connected to the outside world, there's free Wi-Fi. The entertainment opportunities continue with a large TV and DVD player, plus an iPod dock... and for those who don't want to take home a big bag of laundry, there's a washer-dryer in the kitchen to add to the ease of your self-catering holiday.
