Description

Intro

Looking for an easy-living holiday stay within reach of all Southwold’s must-see locations? Call off the search – this ground floor apartment has the sunniest of dispositions and is ideal as either a romantic retreat or family break, while it’s pet-friendly approach means no-one has to miss out on the fun.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

A hallway from the front door leads to the living room and bedrooms, each of the latter boasting its own en suite facilities. Adjacent to the double-bedded room is a bathroom with shower over the bath, while a sliding door from the second bedroom leads into a shower room. This bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out bed beneath it – space would be tight with both in use, but the room could accommodate two children or a cot is available if that would be more age-appropriate.

Cooking and dining

Setting the scene for some memorable together-time, the open plan space here is filled with bursts of bright colour and has an emphasis on easy living – expect level access, floors that can be kept clean with minimal effort and a place for everything. Three sash windows flood the room with light but have stylish shutters for privacy when its wanted – before one of them you’ll find a rustic dining quite and, to the side, a range of beautiful blue kitchen cabinets plus an attention-stealing sailing-themed splashback. Facilities within the kitchen include an eye-level oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and full-sized dishwasher, plus a washing machine with built-in dryer.

Outside

Just a few doors away from the seafront promenade, a small low-walled garden area is furnished with a bistro-style table, chairs and bench seat – it’s a lovely spot in which sit with a drink and take in the sea air. Equally close by is the Lighthouse, Sole Bay Inn and, beyond, the pretty open spaces of East Green – if you’re holidaying with children or a dog there are plenty of pleasurable walks on your doorstep.

Practicalities

Underfloor heating keeps this recently-renovated apartment cosy at all times, and there are heated towel rails in each of the en suites for an extra touch of comfort. TV, WIFi, bath towels and bed linen are all included in your holiday cost, one small dog is welcome and there’s plenty of free on-street parking directly outside.

Reviews

We had a lovely time. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and we had great weather. A lovely comfortable flat in a very convenient location. I would definitely stay there again.

S. P,

We loved it. A gorgeous property! Beautifully furnished and the attention to detail was amazing. Everything was clean and new and the beds were excellent quality.

Previous Customer,

A beautiful, well equipped apartment in an excellent location with beautiful decor. The location of the apartment was great and we did not need to use the car at all. The people in Southwold are very welcoming and the weather was beautiful.

Wayne T,

We had a wonderful stay at Seas the Day. The property is in an excellent location, set back just a few minutes walk from the lovely Southwold seafront and the bustling High Street, with it's variety of eateries, shops and pubs. On-road, free-of-charge parking was readily available; pretty much directly outside the property so loading and unloading the car was easy. The accommodation itself is excellent: clean, bright and airy and maintained to a very high standard. There are good, modern, easy to use appliances i.e. hob, oven, fridge and washing machine. Seas the Day is well equipped and everything we needed was readily available. We took our dog and were able to relax because the floors throughout the property are easy to clean. We have stayed at a variety of holiday homes in Southwold and this was the best so far, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely return - highly recommended.

Previous Customer,

We have now stayed at 'Seas the Day' twice. The first time was for our first visit to Southwold and then we returned for my birthday as we loved it so much. 'Seas the Day' is perfectly situated close to the beach and also close to the centre of town. We have an 11month old son so being a ground floor apartment made life a lot easier, getting the buggy inside etc. Also there is free parking right outside. The bedrooms are at the other end of the apartment to the living room so no risk of waking our son in the evening when relaxing with some fish and chips and watching tv!! Or when we managed to get a moment to enjoy the new decking out front, it's a little sun trap. The apartment had everything we needed and nice and clean. Southwold is a gorgeous coastal village and we have loved walking along the beach and have definitely enjoyed the Adnams beer and food. It is very family friendly, at the same time there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to visit too. We are planning another visit soon....
