Description

Intro

Cheerful coastal influences and an attentive approach to guests’ comfort are the signature style of this lavished-with-love town centre apartment. An oasis of calm above the renowned Southwold Gallery, it’s been created with an artist’s eye for design brilliance and features a masterful mix of modern must-haves.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

A two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout offers the ultimate in luxury and laid-back lifestyle, while the snug offers a convenient third sleeping space with a sofa bed which is available on request if required for your party. All the accommodation is on the first floor, and here you’ll find a beautiful king-sized room with its own stunning white-and-steel en suite shower room. Soft carpets, upholstered headboards, high-quality bed linen and anti-allergy goose down pillows and duvets feature in both bedrooms – in the second, twin beds and an original Victorian fireplace set the scene for soothing slumbers. This spacious apartment offers ample space for four guests and the snug serves well as a TV room for a family of four with children, but its leather sofa easily transforms into a bed if required - just let us know if this is needed for your stay. Continuing the theme of contemporary comfort, the family bathroom features travertine stone flooring, a walk-in shower, underfloor heating and fluffy white towels – look out for some artistic finishing touches too.

Cooking and dining

Fabulous original art adorns the walls of the open plan living space where high ceilings and large windows create a sense of space that’s so much more than expected. A glossy-white corner kitchen is superbly detailed and contains an electric cooker with induction hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and toaster, while a dining suite sits close to an original marble fireplace.

Outside

This first floor apartment gives a great view over the bustling High Street and has its own entrance where there’s space to cast off sandy shoes and store buggies or beach gear.

Practicalities

Bed linen, towels and a much-remarked-upon welcome basket all await your arrival, and central heating assures your comfort at all times. WiFi, TVs, DVDs and an iPod docking station will keep you entertained and connected to the outside world, and a highchair is provided for those holidaying with young children. Unload your car and then leave it on the Common where parking is free – with such a central holiday location, you won’t be needing it again until it’s time to go!

Reviews
