Bedrooms and bathrooms

A ground floor shower room and first floor bathroom with shower overhead mean there’s no need for morning queues and a quick way for everyone to wash off the sand and sea air. Both first floor bedrooms are fresh, light and offer a beautiful view. Enjoy waking early in the beach-side double bedroom – the bay window here gives a great view over what’s rightly known as the ‘sunrise coast’. Sweeping views of the ever-changing marshes are a feature of the twin-bedded room to the rear of the property – sunset over the Harbour has to be seen to be believed, and there’s plenty to thrill wildlife-watchers too.

Cooking and dining

Warm wooden flooring leads the way from the sunny sitting room into a light-filled, white-and-silver kitchen where you’ll enjoy all the essentials of home-living, including a gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. Continue through here into a window-lined sunroom and dining area, which has French doors and steps leading into the garden – there’s furniture outdoors too, so you can eat indoors or out.

Outside

Step beyond the small, fenced area to the front of the property and, just across the road that leads to the Harbour entrance, you’re straight onto the beach! For a more private slice of seaside life, retreat to the rear garden where you’ll find outdoor furniture and spectacular views across the marshes towards the Harbour and Walberswick beyond – the garden is enclosed for extra peace of mind if you’re holidaying with children or dogs.

Practicalities

The Cabin puts you in pole position for the best spot on the beach each day, and has a much-coveted private space for one car to park on the driveway… just one more thing to induce envy from the passers-by! Gas central heating, WiFi, bed linen and towels are all provided, and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome – they’ll love making friends while wandering along the beach! Kindly note that for safety reasons, no smoking, candles or barbecues are permitted at this property.
