The temperature is up and the sun is shining which can only mean one thing - summer is on its way!
With dates at our lovely cottages selling fast we thought we’d provide our top five tips for your summer break in Southwold:
Don't overload the car!
If you’re bringing the kids along it can sometimes be overwhelming trying to remember absolutely everything they’ll want to play with whilst on holiday. Don’t forget Southwold has some fantastic shops selling all beach-side essentials such as buckets and spades, frisbees, kites and more! Look out for Spots of Southwold, Southwold Pier and Gone Crabbing to pick up some supplies.
Check out what’s on!
Southwold is bustling with vibrancy over the summer season and there are some fantastic events taking place over the school holidays. Check out our events calendar prior to your holiday to see what takes your fancy, or pop into our office for our recommendations. There’s something for everyone.
Make sure your petrol tank is full!
Unfortunately we no longer have a service station in Southwold, so if you’re making a long journey be sure you fill up along the way. The nearest service station to Southwold can be found along the A12 in Wangford which is approximately three miles away.
Don’t forget to relax!
With so many things to see and planned days out it’s easy to forget that you’re on holiday to relax. Southwold can certainly cater for those needing to unwind with a great choice of beauticians and hairdressers available. Our favourites include The Sanctuary and Noir Hairdressing Salon.
Be quick to secure your next holiday!
It's easy to see why so many people fall in love with Southwold and want to return again and again. We're currently taking bookings for 2017 so don't forget to get in quick and book up your next Southwold holiday!
