Fabulous Firework Displays

Written by Leah Smith on

Every year on November 5th we come to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night - the anniversary of the gunpowder plot. These fantastic displays of glittery fireworks shooting into the sky and busting with colour are truly magical to watch and a great evening out for the whole family.

Here in Suffolk there are always some fabulous venues hosting firework displays and this year is no different. So grab your winter coat, put on some sensible shoes, gather your loved ones and come along and enjoy the fun at any one of the below venues. Because the 5th of November falls on a weekday this year some of the venues are hosting their event on Saturday 7th November instead. We hope you enjoy the spectacular displays.

Fireworks Night at Broadlands Holiday Village – Thursday 5th November from 6pmThis event is always a sell-out and this year tickets are nearly all gone! Hosted in Oulton Broad at the Broadlands Holiday Village, tickets cost £6.50 which includes food and a drink.

Framlingham Firework Spectacular – Saturday 7th November from 6pm.Another memorable firework display is coming to Framlingham! Hosted at Pageant Field, there will be a large selection of snacks and drinks available such as candy floss, mulled wine, beer, hot dogs, burgers and waffles. Tickets cost £6.00 per adult and £4 per child. All proceeds go into a special fund for the enhancement projects of the Pageant Field.

Heveningham Hall Fireworks Display – Saturday 7th November from 5.30pm

This charity bonfire and firework night is always popular and this year there will be live music from The Counterfeit Stones, The Matadors and Hannah Brown. The funfair will be in full swing and many beverages will be served such as mulled wine, hot drinks and food stalls with candy floss, fish and chips, hog roast and barbecue. Heveningham Hall Fireworks Display is one of the most popular in the county.

Kelsale Village Fireworks Display – Saturday 7th November from 6pm.

Hosted in the recreation ground this annual event in Kelsale is full of community spirit. With a huge bonfire, magical firework display, licensed bar serving drinks, barbecue, doughnut van and much more.  The admission is free but all donations are gratefully received for the village charity.
