All Southwold Lettings staff send our best regards to all businesses and residents in Southwold that have been flooded or affected by the recent storms and tidal surge over the period 5th - 6th December 2013.

We have contacted all of our Southwold holiday home owner and customers that may have been affected by the flooding, and provided alternative holiday accommodation where necessary.

If you are travelling to Southwold from the south, please note that parts of the A12 have been closed due to flooding, particularly in the Blythburgh area. Do please check the BBC Suffolk Travel website or listen to updated radio travel news bulletins before setting out for any journeys.  Traffic travelling from the south through Yoxford and Darsham will be diverted through Halesworth to get to Southwold (arriving just south of the Southwold turnoff on the A12).

Please remember to leave extra time for travelling to your Suffolk holiday destination, and if you are planning to arrive at your self catering cottage after 5pm, please remember to call us on 01502 725409 before 5pm so that we can advise on key collection arrangements.

Best regards from all the team at Southwold Lettings
